溏心風暴家好月圓

Besides studying these days.. Ive been watching this show... its doesn't have anything to do with the original series.. but its so much drama.. im like 4 episodes in and the drama is everywhere.. has me wanting to watch it every night.

The shows basically has the same cast of 溏心風暴 from last year, but the characters they play are all different now...

hahah whats funny is that my parents are getting really obsessed with 溏心風暴 , cause its playing right now on tv... so the whole house is now watching the same people. hahahah


I never seen the character who plays 甘永中 (溫家恆 in real life) ... he's acting so far doesn't seem to be at par with the rest of the cast. I wonder how he landed this role.. maybe we won't be seeing him much longer.

a lil wiki has indicated that he's a regular on 東張西望, the gossip show... no wonder...

Steam Whistle Brewery

Went to the Steamwhistle brewery tour yesterday.. Can't say I learnt much more about beer, though I think i now no the difference between green bottles and brown bottles.. green bottles are suppose to be more environmentally conscious.. don't know if thats just a bunch of hooey from the guide...

oh I now know the difference between a pilsnar and laquer.. i think..

I guess thats how much info gets retained when your drunk..

hotaru no Hikari Commentary

Currently I am right in the middle of the series, I think episode 7. Hotaru may be a little clutzy and extreme in her actions, but she really reminds of how I act all the time.. at work.. at home.. outside in a realistic setting of course.

The J-drama is called Glow of Fireflies in english, which of course is a direct translation, however I think the manga title truly reflects on the plot of the story, its called "Its only a little light in my life"

Being a himono-ona or dried up fish lady, Hotaru loves to stay at home and live comfortably without the world to judging her. I guess because of this, she hasn't has much experience with guys. (Just like me...) Im at the part right now where she starts to date this guy and now she wants to shed her himono cocoon and live a like a normal person. (I guess the question is that.. will i ever be like that.. or be stuck as a himono.....) I really hope she does have a good ending with a guy...

In the introduction sequence to the drama, Hotaru tells a story of how she is reminded that as a child she saw a firefly.. and she lept out to hold the firefly. So much symbolism. Which makes me think that the manga title is better. It just takes a little light to change someones life.. I guess im waiting for that light too... But like manager-san says to Hotaru "All you do is wait.. wait in life.. wait for your breakfast" ..I ve been waiting for way too long, will something come.. I don't think so... not if I keep on living like this.. even if there was a firefly coming my way.. would i even bother to catch it?

People around me are all engaged now.. some even pregnant and have kids.. me .. I haven't even dated long term. Well good luck Hotaru can't wait to see what will happen.

Scrap-paper bonaza

Bought some really cheap scrap paper at Staples today..

Its half price of that har har... but I ended up buying 4 packets which cost me around the same as if i bought one full price



So I took my umbra shelf....




and it turned it into this... note u can still see the original square without the paper back.. the new ones with the paper back... hahah i bought so many so i guess i can keep on interchanging...

Hotaru no Hikari

I started watching this drama, Hotaru no Hikari.. Its hilarious.. so far im on episode 2.. but definitely hilarious.. not only that.. i feel like a total dried-up woman
